Mickwood. The main thing to know is that Wayne is genuinly a top bloke,I am not saying this because I want a cheap Trimix course,he genuinly is.Mind you,so are Wraggy,Simon and Dave amongst others,Heather is top too but she is not a bloke. I only appear rarely,but they allways make me welcome. you could do a lot, lot worse,and I doubt much better.

to help you out the pool fees are �2-50 per session, and cylinder hire is �3-00

Sorry Wayne but unless I'm being a numpty (which is VERY possible) there are no links to 'about us' on your webpage?

The homepage has a frame on the left which looks like it should have links but the only one there was for this forum (on the bottom of the frame)

Sorry, yes our pool nights are on a Saturday evening.

Yes we do exclusively hire the pool on Saturday evenings for our club, so fees are paid to LiveLifeAndDive.

All pool fees and kit hire prices are availiable for viewing on our main website in the About Us page.

We also run a active childrens Seal Team, we do the complete range of PADI courses from seal team all the way up to Tec Trimix technical courses.

Is that on a Sat eve? and 'standard pool fees'...payable to you (do you book the pool exclusively?) or is it a case of just paying Sharley entrance fee? If it's to you...how much and what about tanks etc? we have all kit except tanks and weights

Also, do you do 'junior' courses??

Hi and welcome to our forum,

as for the club we have weekly pool nights at Sharley park leisure centre, We get there for around 6-45, we have the pool from 7-30 till 8-30pm.

We do not charge for club membership, it is simply ,you turn up and pay our standard pool fees.

After the pool we go to a local pub for a drink and a chat about forthcoming trips etc, we go every week although the main club meet is the first Saturday of the month.

There is somebody diving most weekends to tag along with, We also do lots of organised dive trips and holidays both UK and foreign.

Please note that the people who support our pool nights get the first refusal on all club trips ( you support us, we help you)

Hi!

I've just spotted a poster for your club and wanted to find out a bit more. I've got my advanced PADI and my partner is an instructor. We've both only really dived abroad (Claire's done 1 UK dive) but I'm keen to do UK dives (personally I think I'd like to do UK wreck dives). I've managed to grab a secondhand drysuit and once I can afford to replace a valve then I'd be up for starting in the UK.

How is the club working? weekly meets? weekly trips? How much does it cost?

Any info very much appreciated

I am thinking of organizing a hard hat & chamber dive at the York diver training college,

In order to look at this could you all please let me know asap if you are interested, the approx cost is about �45.00pp, which includes a hard hat dive, a chamber dive to 50mtrs, and lunch included,

We need to get 18 of us or we would incurr additional costs
