We are working on the raft on the Saturday the 14th and Sunday the 15th of november,

if you wish to be on the raft on boxing day, we would appreciate a hand in getting it ready.

please note that those who help will get priority for spaces, which are very limited.

Before we carry on with this trip we are checking on the long range weather forecast, has we may postpone this trip untill early next year,

everybody i speak too, seem to say re arrange it for next year.

I am thinking of organizing a hard hat & chamber dive at the York diver training college,

In order to look at this could you all please let me know asap if you are interested, the approx cost is about �45.00pp, which includes a hard hat dive, a chamber dive to 50mtrs, and lunch included,

We need to get 18 of us or we would incurr additional costs

i really want to come will let you know asap, its parents bloody 40th aniversary and they may be going away in which case i cant come will be cat sitting for them - how inconvienient of them! :-)

I am thinking of organizing the Farnes trip on the Saturday the 7th and Suday the 8th of November, the cost of the diving is �80.00pp

that is for 2 dives a day off the boat, accomodation is extra and starts at approx �25.00 per night.

Please let me know asap if you wish to attend so i can book the boat,could do with a full boat has we don't really want to share if poss (makes for a better time if just club members).

Please let me know by Friday the 9th of October, otherwise we will miss out.

Heather & Wayne, would like to say a massive thank you for all of you that attended and helped in making this a memorable evening.

It was nice that we well exceded our target for Ashgate hospice, and we will probably make this a annual event, as requested by most.

Look forward to seeing you all again soon,

PS, would you all like us to organize a Xmas do again, please let us know asap.

Thanks to Wayne and Heather for organising a great night, It was great that the fundraising target was exceeded.

The leg waxing nearly bought tears to the eyes for more reasons than one.

A non official activity of the evening was the balloon racing.

Probably better off forgotten.

It won't be long before the raft race will be upon us,

so we need to start work on preparing it for this awesome event, this year we are doing a washer women theme ,

we are planning to start work on Saturday the 17th and sunday the 18th of October, your help would be appreciated in this matter.

Also if you wish to attend this years event, please let me know as spaces are very limited.

This is the highlight of the year for many of us, afterwards we will be having a buffet at my place.

As from the first Saturday of October, we will be changing the way that we do our club meets,

From that date, we will then meet in the Blue Bell public house after our pool session, on the first saturday of each month,

To discuss what we will be doing for the coming month, ie, planned dive trips, who is diving where etc, and other social events.

We hope this will fit in more with peoples hectic lifestyles, we will still go to the pub after each pool session just for a drink on other dates.
