For one night only the areas friendliest dive club are doing a Charity dinner & dance evening, on the Saturday evening of September the 26th.

All profits will go to Ashgate Hospice.

It will be taking place at the Shoulder at Hardstoft, Nr Pilsley, starting at 6-30pm and finishing at around 11-30pm.

The dress code will be evening wear or smart, so a good chance to dress up and meet all of your friends.

The evening will consist of a sit down 3 course meal, followed by a charity Auction, with some fantastic items donated by friends and some of the major retailers in the Chestefield area, including ASDA, BOOTS, CO-OP etc to name a few.

We will also have some fantastic raffle prizes, again donated by friends and retailers, a list of all GOODS including the person or company that has donated them will be on show on the night.

This will be followed by a disco to dance the night away.

Tickets are very limited, with only 80 availiable for the night, and are availiable at a cost of £30.00pp.

You will all need to be there for 6-30pm, we sit down at 7.00pm for the meal.

This looks like being a spectacular evening, so will see you all there.

Thanks to Wayne and Heather for organising a great night, It was great that the fundraising target was exceeded.

The leg waxing nearly bought tears to the eyes for more reasons than one.

A non official activity of the evening was the balloon racing.


Probably better off forgotten.

Heather & Wayne, would like to say a massive thank you for all of you that attended and helped in making this a memorable evening.

It was nice that we well exceded our target for Ashgate hospice, and we will probably make this a annual event, as requested by most.
